[ He drops a location pin. It is very definitely the house on Will-o'-the-Wisp Walk where Loki was entrapped not so very long ago. ]

Home sweet home. You even get to decorate your own room.

[ Read: it's a mess and while he's cleared Loki a curse-free space in the magical mayhem he hasn't actually done anything more than a superficial clean of the surface dust. The room is still looks straight out of the early 1900s. ]

[ Maybe an hour, an hour and a half after he was forcibly ejected, there's a knock knock on Loki's bedroom door. This time, he doesn't so much as try the handle, actually waiting for an answer. ]

[The door opens, with magic! Loki is lying down on his bed, playing games. He doesn't look up.]

What?

[rehandle]

[ That's a sign of a marginally better reception than the one he left... Stephen steps into the doorway, but no farther past the threshold for now. ]

Feeling calmer?

[ If his light tone is any indication, he apparently is. ]

[Obviously his approach this time is calmer, but still. From his perspective, Stephen started everything!]

For the time being.

[ No point in pretending that couldn't change under the right circumstances. He fishes the phone out of his pocket, holding it up. ]

If I give this back am I going to have to make a public broadcast in thirty minutes denouncing the benefits of pacts with unknown entities?

I mean, I've already made my point. There's little else for me to do now, otherwise I wouldn't have given it to you.

[Anything further is between the demon and everyone else, which he doesn't care about.]

I'm surprised you haven't made one already, TBH. You do love highlighting the magical things people shouldn't engage in.

I do. Fortunately the debate in response to your announcement seems to have provided its own explanation of the pitfalls, so I'm spared the need.

Did it ask you to advertise, or did you do that on your initiative?

It's mischief, Stephen. If he had asked me to advertise, proselytize, whatever, I would've taken a far different approach.

[After all, he knowingly lied about what the demon was doing, etc.]

I don't particularly care if anyone else takes him up on his offer. The debate's enough to entertain me.

[ Entertain. His mouth draws down at the corner, and he tosses the phone onto Loki's bed before he can say any more to make him think better of it. ]

Let's hope your sport doesn't put anyone else's life at risk. Any more mischief of the same variety and I'm limiting your screentime for at least a week.

[ A joke? An earnest threat? Who knows, he's not sticking around to see how it lands, and will close the door behind him the same way Loki opened it if there's not interference. ]

[The phone is caught by a little green orb of magic, Loki still refusing to give any of this his full attention. He'll check his messages in a second, see how the post's doing, etc.]
